Here's an old photo of my dad, left, with Billy Lindes Jr. (who is actually my cousin because my dad was so much younger than his oldest sister) and my namesake uncle Kenny, right. My cousin lied about his age so he could fight in the Korean War with his similarly aged uncles, but sadly perished in Okinawa.

From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things  I know I shouldn't, but can't help lusting after Brody Jenner who hits 33 today.  Actress Carrie-Ann Moss turns 49 today.  Desperate Housewives '  Cody Kasch turn 29 today.  (I think the pic below is Cody with his brothers).  Hayden Panettiere hits 27 today.  I still love pulling out my Kenny and Dolly Christmas CD each year. Kenny Rogers turn 78 today.  Beautiful actor Mitchell Anderson turns 55 today.

We won't waffle when it comes to looking at these Belgian runners. From: OutSports  Three-quarters of Belgium's men's 4x400 relay team at the Rio Olympics is made up of brothers from one family.   Leg 1 of Belgium's team, which qualified for tonight's final, was run by Julien Watrin. After that, the Borlée Brothers took over, with Jonathan followed by Dylan and then Kevin running the anchor leg. Kevin and Jonathan, both 28, are twins. Dylan, 23, is the baby. The athletic bloodlines extend to their sister, Olivia, who qualified from the Olympics in the women's 200 meters. From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things  'Sometimes we're all too quick to count down the days that we forget to make the days count.'  If you go by the calendar, August 7th marks about the halfway point of summer. If you're a student, it is pretty much the start of the countdown. The back to school commercials have started, the flyers are full of backpacks, crayola's and 3 ring binders. This was the first weekend I noticed university students back on the streets of my town. Looking for housing, looking for furniture, looking for a little fun in their last few weeks of freedom.  I am going back to school 'sort of' myself, (more on that later) and am experiencing a bit of that excitement, and nervousness... myself.
