March 05, 2017 From: Speed o Rex Pietro Boselli  France:  It seems as if the world pro cyclists get no break anymore.  From the End of the Vuelta a Espana and the Worlds to the Tour down Under, there are only a couple of months.  Pro cycling in France came alive for 2017 with the annual Paris-Nice stage race.   Contested in 8 stages, from today through next Sunday, it really does represent a challenge to redevelop well rested legs. Today, Stage 1 of the Paris-Nice features a 148.5 km leg through Bois-d'Arcy.  Germany:  Bundesliga Soccer: Bayern Munich was at the head of the standings by seven points, having won  at Cologne. Spain internationals Javi Martinez and Juan Bernat gave Bayern a comfortable two-goal lead before substitute Franck Ribery netted a third on 90 minutes.  This week they travel to Arsenal in Champions League competition. December 18, 2016 From: Speed o Rex The FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2016 Finals were contested in Tokyo: Zinedine Zindane's Real Madrid did play Kashima, from host country Japan, with Real Madrid wanting to continue European dominance, 9 of the last 10 Club titles.  Check the web for final results. In the US:  Sunday Night Football featured the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5) at the Dallas Cowboys (11-2).  Jameis Winston had improved, along the Tampa Bay's iffy defense so the Buccaneers were on a roll.  The Cowboys looked to recover from the previous week's loss at the New York Giants. Dallas fell 10-6 in Tampa in 2015 with miserable gains against Tampa Bay's defense.  The Minnesota Vikings, who started strong before their string of losses after their bye week (they are 7-6 overall, but 2-6 in their last 8 games)  should had been strengthened by the return of NFL favorite Adrian Peterson, who has been out with injury since week 2.
